Your Brain Can Do Better Than Memory Palaces

For making connections, flashcards aren’t very helpful. People talk about mind palaces. They are limited to learning random lists. It’s not possible for all of us to conjure that many mental mental palaces.

It’s easier to strengthen old connections than it is to come up with new ones. I try to explain the steps to creating your own memory stories with the help of an example. By the end of this piece, you will know about a disease, as well as learning the thought process behind creating stories from complicated topics.

A high-yield word is a bold word. By the end of the piece, the goal is to learn how they learned them. It will help you apply this in your day-to-day life.

The central theme of the story is the word hunter. The story will be based on the real world. The aim is to learn from the known. The word has many associations to the other words and the real world.

The next step is to identify the connections between the themes. Go back to what you were talking about. You’ve learned four of them. The hunters are aggressive and the mongolians are great hunters.

The Hunter has a wife. The girl’s name is Ela. The Hunter and Ela need to be praised for their actions. The name can be added to other words.

You can change the order of syllables and spellings. Random but known words are okay. All you have to do is make sure that they are vivid and fit in your story, so you can change the form.

Every story has an action or behavior. If you want to learn the word ‘Heparin’ sulfate’, make your Hunter run with a HEPA filter. Imagine a Genghis Khan who would strengthen your connections with your Hunter.

The hunter likes Ela. She always praises him as he runs behind his prey. While a foolish hunter throws filters at his prey, I want to shake my head at the moron.

The best association is the first one that comes to your mind. The first association is vivid. It will fit into your story and be the first thing you think of when you think of the story. Does it fit into a story?

The name of the series can be used to remember something. The series name is Hunter. The word “Asians” in the series reinforced the phrase “Mongolian”. The diseases have an inheritance pattern.

You have a tale to tell at the end of this exercise. The limbic system is a part of the brain. The Papez circuit plays a critical role in long-term potentiation which helps strengthen neural synapses to create a long- lasting memory.
